Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in an official visit to the Republic of Finland

On 6 March 2026, National Assembly Speaker, Ms. Ana Brnabić met with the Speaker of the Parliament of Finland Mr. Jussi Halla-aho, with whom she discussed strengthening parliamentary cooperation between Serbia and Finland, the exchange of experiences in parliamentary work, and the importance of regular political dialogue.

During the visit, National Assembly Speaker, Ms. Ana Brnabić also spoke with the Minister of Education Mr. Anders Adlercreutz about the Finnish education system. The discussion also covered potential cooperation between educational and scientific institutions of the two countries.

National Assembly Speaker, Ms. Ana Brnabić also met with the Minister for European Affairs and Ownership Steering Mr. Joakim Strand, with whom she discussed Serbia’s European integration and Finland’s support on that path. She reiterated that membership in the European Union remains a strategic goal of our country.

During the visit, National Assembly Speaker Ms. Ana Brnabić attended part of the plenary session of the Finnish Parliament.

She also met with representatives of the Finnish Institute of Public Management (HAUS) and the Finnish Innovation Fund (SITRA).
