CERTIFICATION OF SIGNATURE ON POWER OF ATTORNEY OR STATEMENT

Certification of signatures on private documents in the Serbian language (power of attorney or statement) for use in the Republic of Serbia is carried out at the Embassy on the basis of a valid identification document of the Republic of Serbia (passport or ID card). The private document must be signed in the presence of an Embassy official. The consular fee for certifying one signature is 41 euro. The certification of a second signature on the same private document is 19 euros, while the certification of a third and each subsequent signature on the same private document is 11 euros. If the signatures of two persons are certified on the same private document, the consular fee amounts to 82 euros. The consular fee is paid at the Embassy.

 

CERTIFICATION OF DOCUMENT PHOTOCOPY

A document photocopy can be certified at the Embassy. In such cases, it is necessary to present both the original document and its photocopy. The consular fee for certifying a photocopy of the first page is 29 euros, and for certifying each subsequent page 8 euros. The consular fee is paid at the Embassy.

 

CERTIFICATION OF INHERITANCE STATEMENTS OR POWERS OF ATTORNEY RELATING TO REAL ESTATE IN SERBIA

A power of attorney concerning real estate in the Republic of Serbia, or an inheritance statement, may be certified at the Embassy in the legally prescribed form, which includes a clause confirming the validity of the document (solemnization clause). The personal presence of the grantor of the power of attorney or statement is required, and they must be identified with a valid identification document of the Republic of Serbia (passport or ID card). The grantor must submit the appropriate text of the power of attorney or statement prepared by a qualified professional in Serbia (attorney). The power of attorney or statement is signed at the Embassy. The consular fee is 41 euro and is payable at the Embassy.
