According to the Law on Border Control of the Republic of Serbia, a written parental consent is not required for crossing of underage persons, foreign citizens, over the border of Serbia.
For crossing the border of Serbia by a citizen of Serbia under 16 years old, who travels alone or accompanied by a person who is not his/her parent or legal guardian, an attested consent is required from both parents (if they jointly exercise parental rights) or legal guardian. If a child is accompanied by one of the parents, a written parental consent is not required.
Please note that authorities of the countries of transit and starting/final destination may ask for the parental consent, especially if child and accompanying parent have different last names. |
