At the margins of the 76th session of the UN General Assembly in New York, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia Nikola Selaković has discussed with the Estonian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Eva Maria Liimets.
Selaković estimated that bilateral relations were good and without open issues and expressed readiness for their further improvement.
The Serbian Foreign Trade Minister thanked Estonia for their continual support to European integrations of Serbia. He emphasized that full EU membership was a strategic goal of Serbia and introduced the Estonian Minister to the reform process in Serbia.
Selaković informed Minister Liimets on the dialog of Belgrade and Priština and current situation in the field, reminding that Serbia had fulfilled all its obligations from the Brussels Agreement whereas Priština had failed to do so for more than one hundred months and introduced unilateral measures.
He highlighted that Serbia would remain dedicated to dialog, stability and preservation of peace, as well as creation of conditions for economic growth of everyone in the region, which was realized through the “Open Balkans” initiative.
The Serbian Foreign Affairs Minister introduced the Estonian Minister also to economic reforms and success of Serbia in past seven years.
Selaković emphasized that Serbia is committed to strengthening of economic cooperation and increase of the trade exchange with Estonia.
