During the period from October 1 to 31, 2022, the Census of Population, Households and Apartments is being conducted on the territory of the Republic of Serbia.

 

For citizens of Serbia who are temporarily abroad at the time of the census (studying, working or staying abroad for other reasons), the data will be provided to the census takers by members of their household in the Republic of Serbia.

 

During the data collection period (i.e. until 31 October), the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia is also conducting a Survey on citizens of the Republic of Serbia living abroad, which is intended for citizens of Serbia who do not have household members in the Republic of Serbia but live abroad alone or with members of their household. The questionnaire is available on the website of the Statistical Office (https://istcapi.stat.gov.rs/INO/LogIn.aspx). The purpose of this research is to obtain a more complete picture of the number and basic demographic, migratory, educational and other characteristics of the citizens of the Republic of Serbia abroad.
